Built on a strong timber frame, the Workshop Series is easy to line and kit out with shelving, benches, power, and lighting—making it perfect for serious DIY, mechanical work, or storage. Add windows or extra PA doors to customise it even further.

Configure your Garage or Workshop
Aluminium Fixed Window
A high quality NZ manufactured aluminium joinery fixed window is perfect to let extra light into your shed. You can choose to have it match the cladding colour, the door colour, or any other available colour you prefer. The flashings surrounding the window must match the other flashings on your shed. Window measures 970mm W x 520mm H.
Aluminium Opening Window
A high quality NZ manufactured aluminum joinery opening window is perfect to let extra light and ventilation when you need it into your shed. You can choose to have it match the cladding colour, the door colour, or any other available colour you prefer. The flashings surrounding the window must match the other flashings on your shed. Window measures 970mm W x 520mm H.
Pedestrian Access Door
Take your accessibility up a notch with a pedestrian access door (810mm W x 1920mm H). The door is steel framed and can be the same colour as the shed, the roller door, or whichever other colour you prefer.
Very High Wind Upgrade Kit
The Lifestyle shed can withstand most of Mother Nature’s wear and tear, but for those Very High Wind Zone areas, we offer an NZS 3604 Very High Wind Zone shed upgrade kit for all Lifestyle range models
Very High Wind situations are as defined in NZS3604. The BRANZ website may also be of use: www.branz.co.nz/branz-maps-zones. For some Lifestyle shed models in these areas, a Very High Wind Upgrade kit is required, in combination with a concrete floor, to maintain compliance with the Building Code.
The Shed models this applies to are those that are greater than 2.0m deep front-to-back (with the exception of the Kinloch model). Note: Very High Wind upgrade kits cannot be used with Timber Floors; if this is necessary, please refer to NZS3604 or professional engineering advice.
Snow Load Upgrade Kit
Live in New Zealand’s high country where snowfalls are regular? We have you covered with a NZS 3605 standard 1 kPa engineered load rating on all our Lifestyle sheds.
However, for those higher elevation areas with severe snow, the Snow Load Upgrade Kit is a perfect addition to your Lifestyle shed, with a 2kPa upgrade Snow Load kit option to suit NZS 3604 standards, reinforcing the shed's inner roof structure.
This kit is only available for the following models: Whitford, Otago, Havelock, Kapiti, Glenburn, Ardmore, Oxford, Wairarapa and Paihia.

Automatic Door Kit
Access your Lifestyle Range Shed at the click of a button with our remote controlled automatic door kit. A popular addition for those wanting complete convenience.
Clear Roof Panel
Duratuf Clear Roof Panels provide UV free natural daylight inside your shed. This is perfect if you are using your shed for a workshop and need light while the door may be closed. Please note that clear roof panels may condensate more than a steel roof during cold weather.
Lifestyle Range Ranchslider
All Lifestyle cabins and workshops come with a stylish yet functional ranchslider optional upgrade. All ranchslider feature timber liners that extend 12mm inside the framing making lining easy.
Choose between single or double glazed ranchslider doors, both offering easy access for larger items and plenty of natural light. Single glazed ranchsliders are great for a hobby cabin, while double glazed ranchsliders are essential for a sleepout/office due to their superior insulation and energy efficiency.
Optional Extra Height
Lifestyle sheds already come with generous wall height, but sometimes a little extra makes all the difference. With our optional 390mm wall height upgrade, you’ll enjoy more space to move, better storage for tall items, and extra comfort for taller users. It’s also ideal for creating a roomier, more practical workshop.
Please note: this upgrade is not available on all Lifestyle Range models.
Peg Down Kit
The Duratuf peg down kit is perfect for anchoring your garden shed on ground such as grass, dirt or metal. The 6 x H5 treated pegs are driven into the ground and screwed to the bottom plate with the stainless steel screws provided. A timber floor kit can then be fitted over the top if required.
Shed Alarm
This innovative mains free shed alarm is easily fixed inside the framing of your Duratuf shed. Features an ultra-loud 130db siren.
